Shutta App Shortlisted for Yet Another Prestigious Award

Shutta app, the photo capture app people are gaining more awards. Based in Ho Chi Minh City they have been collecting awards and accolades at regular intervals. Their formal launch was at TechCrunch’s Digital Startup Alley in New York in May 2015. Now they have been shortlisted for another hugely important award. The CMO Asia Social Media & Digital Marketing Excellence Awards have nominated Shutta in the “Best Digital Start-up” category.

Founders Englishman, James Shimmell and Barabara Ximenez Bruidegom, from the Netherlands, own the company. With an ever-growing young workforce in Ho Chi Minh City’s popular District 2, Shutta continues its meteoric rise. Only recently the company announced a big gamification release on their app, to improve user engagement. Users can now unlock “eggs” which they can exchange for increased functionality.

CMO Asia, Social Media & Digital Marketing Excellence Awards 2017

The CMO Asia, Social Media & Digital Marketing Excellence Awards’ ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Le Meridien Hotel in Singapore, Sentosa on 1st August 2017. The event will be attended by some of the most senior professionals within the industry.

The Shutta app hit the headlines when it and their subsequent social media platform garnered almost two million followers across the globe. Their “Shutta Missions” have provided an effective revenue stream for the company and huge social media presence for their customers.

Whilst not new to collecting awards, this is a very prestigious one and one that causes great excitement within the IT industry in general. To be nominated as Best Digital Start-up in such a competitive environment is a tremendous achievement for Shutta, its founders and staff.
